Kelly Campbell 3rd Grade Teacher, Rockingham County Schools
Kelly has taught for nine years. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from UNC Greensboro. She holds a Master's Degree in Reading Education in grades K-12 which she earned from Appalachian State University. Kelly is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Gardner-Webb University where she is studying Curriculum and Instruction. Kelly is working on a dissertation regarding Differentiation and Technology. In her current role as a third grade teacher, she serves as a mentor, as well as, a member of several committees. Kelly has authored and illustrated two children's books; Annie the Amazing Ant and The Sugar Cookie Girl. Kelly aspires to continue writing children's literature once she completes her doctoral program.

Tina Whitten Instructional Coach, Rockingham County Schools
Tina is a twenty-two year veteran of education. She has taught second, third, and fourth grades as well as AIG and is presently an instructional coach at New Vision School of Math, Science and Technology.. Tina is a National Board Certified teacher and holds two Master's degree in Curriuclum and Instruction and Academically and Intellectually Gifted Education. She is currently working toward her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at Gardner-Webb University and is researching the impact of Instructional Coaching on teacher efficacy. Her teacher leader interests include differentiation, formative assessment, and feedback. In her free time, Tina enjoys spending time with her daughter, Lily and her husband, Eric.

Karen Hester Principal, Rockingham County Schools
Karen has seventeen years of experience as a teacher assistant, teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal. Karen holds a Master's degree in School Administration from Appalachian State University. She is currently working toward her Doctorate Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Gardner-Webb University. Karen is currently working on her dissertation which is a program evaluation about increasing graduation rates for Rockingham County Schools. In her free time, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.

Description
The purpose of this professional development is to strengthen the understanding of differentiated instruction and strategies for implementation. After completing this professional development, teachers will be empowered to use research based differentiated instructional strategies to differentiate for all students in the classroom.
